Let Parasol's contractor management team
look after all those fiddly admin and
management tasks

One of the many advantages of choosing Parasol is that our ISO9001 accredited systems and processes are built for one specific task, to get you paid on time every time.
While you get on with what you do best, our contractor management team take care of all those fiddly, time consuming admin and tax calculations and ensure the necessary deductions - such as tax, NI, pensions, expenses and student loans – are made before the money hits your bank account. Here’s how it all works:
- You become a Parasol employee by registering your personal details on our secure website with absolutely no joining fee or tie-ins to worry about.
- Just tell us who your agency or direct client is and we’ll manage the rest – you just need to confirm your contract details are right.
- Fill in your timesheets and business expenses on our easy-peasy to use online portal My Parasol.
- We automatically download timesheets every 4 hours and turn them into invoices which are sent straight to your agency or direct client – no manual processes here!
- We’ll link up with your agency or direct client to make sure all invoicing and timesheets match up.
- You’ll receive your monthly (or weekly) payroll in your bank account knowing that it’s totally in line with HMRC regulations and that it’s not only completely legit, but fully tax efficient.
- We’ll email your payslip and text you to let you know you’ve been paid.
- Everything can be tracked online via My Parasol, so you know exactly where you’re up to.
Other stuff you need to know
- You won’t necessarily get paid on the same day each week or month because it will depend on when your agency or end client pays us. We don’t believe in hanging onto your money though; we send 98% of payrolls within 24 hours of it coming into us.
- The amount you receive each week or month will vary depending on what expenses you’ve put in for and which payroll they are offset against.
- We don’t advise that you consistently input ‘round sum’ expense claims, such as a standard £15 every day for food and drink. The tax man is nobody’s fool and will pounce on claims that aren’t genuine!
