Finance helpline comes to aid of FSB members
Posted on 28 October 2008
Small business owners are now able to take advantage of a helpline offering information and advice on all finance-related enquiries.
The Federation of Small Businesses (FSB) has launched this new initiative to help ease some of the concerns of its 215,000 members in the wake of the continuing economic slowdown affecting the UK and wider world.
Accessible via a freephone number, the FSB Finance Helpline is the latest offering from the federation, which already offers a round-the-clock legal helpline, insurance services, business banking and finance for business.
Sandy Harris, FSB chairman of member services, said it was important for business owners to have "sound advice" in order that they can make the right decisions for the good of their business.
"The FSB is lobbying the Government to ensure small businesses are given appropriate support and this service will provide additional help to members who will be struggling with financial issues," he added.
Earlier this month, the FSB launched a £1 billion blueprint aimed at stabilising the UK economy and saving jobs.
