How do you rate it?
It’s been a gloomy week for news this week as the government released ‘disappointing’ unemployment figures, two of the UK’s leading banks announced rate cuts for IT contractors and the British chamber of commerce cast doubt on the UK economic recovery.
The flip side is that, according to a report by Contractor Calculator, the stagnation that the UK economy is experiencing may actually create more opportunities for contractors and freelancers.
Sometimes the UK media can have a compounding effect on bad news and it’s almost as if we become the architects of our own downfall but what do you think the reality of the situation is?
We are looking for your views and opinions and we’ll publish them on the Parasol Contractors’ Network Linked In group. So make sure you join the group and leave us your view.
And if you do join the group now you also stand the chance of winning an iPad 2.
So how are things for you at the moment? Are rates being squeezed? Are contracts harder to come buy? Or are you weathering the storm and is your sector doing well? Post your comments on the Linked In group and we’ll also use them to produce a Contractor Confidence report.
Let us know what you think.
